Tim arranged Dougal’s relocation to Dubai and was absolutely amazing. We had a few hiccups along the way but Tim found a way forward every time we faced a challenge. He kept us informed and even had Dougal stay over at his house the night before the flight. Dougal is now with us in Abu Dhabi and doesn’t seem any worse the wear for his big adventure. I wanted to make sure Dougal’s trip was as painless as possible for him (and us!) and Tim made sure it was. I would like to thank Tim Finlay Pet Services for the wonderful job he did helping me emigrate to the USA with my very large and wonderful dog Rupert. Our travel plans changed quite a few times and Tim was always there to offer support and advice, and very patiently changed his quotes as I requested them. He was thorough with all the messy paperwork (something I hate!) and was so sweet with Rupert when he came to collect him I know he really cares about all his precious charges. All the way from Newcastle upon Tyne to Echo Lake Colorado USA. Thanks Tim for taking good care of me I arrived safe and full of beans. My Mum and Dad so happy to see me, Mum had a few tears of happiness. I love it here in Colorado. However our time is going by fast and soon it will be time to hop back in that comfortable sky kennel and fly home. A massive thank you to Tim for all his help in sorting out the Famous Five’s return to Oz. Without your help & guidance it just wouldn’t have been as smooth as it has. Yes we had a few scares due to negligence from a vet (not the one who assisted us) and also a last minute panic with the airline but again you got the solution. I cannot wait to be reunited with them all once they are released from quarantine. Anyone looking for a pet transporter - stop looking and call Tim, he is your man. Cuba’s Experience
June Bickerstaffe January 2019
When I decided to leave the UK and go and live in Australia: I could not leave my dog behind.
I had spent many hours training him and he was also part of our family.
Being a large German Shepherd, having to travel by air, going into Melbourne for 10 days,
and being handled by different people, was a very big concern.
I spoke to different dog couriers but when I spoke to Tim at Tim Finlay’s Pet Services he put my mind at rest.
First of all he went through all the procedure that the vet would undertake. Tim contacted my vet
and worked with my vet every bit of the way. Making sure all paperwork was up-to-date and all tests done.
Tim came out to see my dog, and measured Cuba. He is a big German Shepherd so he had to have a crate made to measure. Tim sorted all this out.
No matter what I was worried about I could phone Tim and he would give me an honest answer.
Nothing was a problem. I think the main thing that stick’s in my mind is: ‘’ Tim I’m worried about all these people handling Cuba’’ Tim’s reply was ‘’ June, these are professional people, they handle all sorts of dogs’’ [ not some young kid who knows nothing about dogs] So I let go of all my worries.
On the morning of Cuba’s departure Tim arrived, speaking to Cuba in a calm manner and sorting out the paperwork. Tim calmly asked Cuba to jump into the crate in the back of the van and they were off.
Tim kept me up-to-date on all the travel movements and quarantine. I even got photo’s. I was given an airline ticket number and was able to keep track myself. Tim made sure that Cuba was flown from Quarantine to Sydney by the team he works with in Australia.
We collected Cuba from the quite lounge, and my goodness was he so please to see me. I had a photo from the team as he left quarantine, Cuba sat by ‘the professional person’ , what did I have to worry about? Nothing, Cuba was being looked after with care and respect.
Moving country is a big deal with everything you have to sort out, so Tim taking over Cuba’s transport was such a big relief.
Tim’s team did such a fabulous job, perfect in every step.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIM FINLAYS PET SERVICES TO ANY OWNER WHO IS MOVING THEIR PETS ABROAD.
